Hi All,

I have a paid up LIVE HD sub on my Go 540. Since my renewal last month and following the App update that fixed the 1005 connection error, I am now able to connect and use the live services.

The problem is that when I turn on my unit, it take between 5 minutes and 30 minutes to actually log into the servers and pull back the traffic data.

Sometime Ive actually made the 20 mile journey to work along the M62 before my TTs actually logged in and the traffic is up and running - any one any advice here?

My connection to GPRS on board is showing as connected so I just don;t know why logging in takes so long!

help appreciated

Yep, this is the Navcore I upgraded to as I spent 4 month on 9.054 with no Live Services!

Are Tom Tom offering refunds or sub extensions for all this trouble?

Give them a ring on 0845 161 0009 and ask about refund/ extending your Live subscription to compensate for the service outage and at the same time ask them why its taking too long for the unit to log in with 9,058 installed - Mike

Just to add that the HD traffic has been bad over the last few days on my XL Live. So it may be their end thats the problem also.
