It will be interesting to see how it compares to the Goggle-maps turn by turn that I've been using along with EZ_Cam for the Pocket GPS speed camera alerts. I'd be specially interested if it does cache maps.

I'm reasonably happy with Goggle-maps + EZCam so long as I have a signal, but it does hammer my data allowance a little!! Fortunately EZCam also works on its own and does not need a data connection & I also have in-car navigation if I actually need to get somewhere.

I think you can add a POI to their website, and/or add it to your favorites, then you can navigate to them with the Android app.
