Map too large

I have a TomTom XL Live IQ Routes Europe and I have just been notified that there is a new Europe map that I can download.

However as my TT does not have an external memory card slot and the memory is limited to 2 GB I cannot download the full map.

This is not too important as I am unlikely to go to some of the countries covered by the European map.
Nevertheless I am considering replacing the XL Live IQ Routes Europe with a better model that does have a memory slot.

What model would suit my needs without breaking the bank too much and is it worth me making the change?

I also understand that some models now have a dumbed down menu system. Should I go for the better menu system and why?

Only the x50 Live devices have the memory card slot:

550 for UK&ROI
750 Western_Europe
950 Western_Europe & North America

Prior to these devices were the x40 range or the Go-x20 and Go-x30 which also have the all important memory card slot but finding new items of any go thats pre x50 is getting very difficult - Mike

And for the record, the x50 range don't have the 'simplified' (dumbed down) menu (yet).
