I am finding it difficult to get the POIs to show for the UK.
That aside for the moment. My wife and I will both shortly be retired and are considering getting a dog.
Do you have POIs for "Pet Friendly Accommodation" in the UK? _________________ Regards,

I'm not sure you'll have any luck with that but a good site to look at is THIS ONE where we found a number of places who will take our THREE dogs. _________________ Formerly known as Lost_Property

Before I found the site, via The Dog's Trust, we went to N. Wales having seen the ad on the net. It looked fine from the picture. Got there and it wasn't much bigger than my garage. My wife walked in, took one look and walked out again. I saw the look on her face and said 'So it's back home then'? Same as you aj2052, I wouldn't have left my dogs there.
Last year at Clynnog, N. Wales, we had a great time in a lovely detached cottage with it's own private garden and several acres for the dogs to run around and a couple of places to get down to the (private access) beach.
Found a nice looking place in Northumberland from http://www.dogsinvited.co.uk/index.html for this year.
What I would say is after checking for a suitable vacancy in the area you wish to visit, check the other month's to see if they are booked. There are some sites which were fully booked for 2010 when we checked back in January and a number have bookings for 2011 already. _________________ Formerly known as Lost_Property
