Do any other users have the following problem?

I have "Prevent standby" selected in settings as I power my iPhone from the car cigar lighter socket.

Most times (but not always) this works and the iPhone does not enter standby after starting CamerAlert. Sometimes however, usually after making or accepting a phone call, the iPhone will enter standby after restarting the app when the call has ended.

A couple of times, on long journeys, the app has stayed out of standby for a couple of hours and then just randomly decides to go into standby.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Yes I've had the same problem. I think I read somewhere this can happen if the app has no GPS signal when started. Not had chance to prove this 1 way or the other though.

We have seen that too, most of the time after a fresh install of the app. Let's say that the iPhone OS doesn't always remember/honour what applications tell it (cue child with fingers in ears and tongue out). Not much we can do here.
