Hi , just updated my CoPilot software and carried out license reset as per CoPilot email instructions. Now my Live Traffic icon does not work, its there but not highlighted any more , I did pay for the Live traffic late last year.

Any ideas ?

Why did you update?

I don't remember any very recent updates from CoPilot, unless this was an old one.

I haven't done any license resets either, and all is still working fine.

Just received this via email from ALK:-

If you have a Premium Live Services upgrade (Live Traffic & Live Fuel Prices) for your CoPilot Live—you will need to restore the Premium Live Services license within CoPilot Live after you do the License Reset required for the latest update on your iPhone. Please follow the short instructions below–it will only take a couple of minutes, we promise!

Step 1
Within your CoPilot Live, go to: MENU - CoPilot Store - Restore Licenses

Step 2
You will be asked to enter your iTunes Password. Then tap OK.

Step 3
Select “Live Traffic, Local Search & Fuel Prices – 12 Months”.

Step 4
Once you see the Restoration Successful screen, you are all set to continue using CoPilot’s Premium Live Services.

Hope this helps.

It's just a pity they didn''t send out the email *before* they released the update!

Has anyone actually had anything useful via Live Traffic.

Just wondering as recently I was sat in an office in Cambridge, with the A14 blocked and the M6 blocked North bound between 1 and 2 (as confirmed by the M6 web cams).

Not that you'd have known via Live Traffic. Using both on my route or nearby, CoPilot was predicting an incident free journey.

Only had reports of long term lane closures etc. Don't recall having a 'live' incident.
