Navigon on Iphone with TomTom mount sound problems

I have a recent problem using navigon Europe on the iphone with the tomtom mount. up until recently everything was working correctly. However it has started to lose all audio after operating for a short while. I have to stop the software, undock the phone, remove power from the dock and then re-dock and re-power. starting the software again. I have tried a complete re-install of the iphone os and all software, however it still happens. As you can imagine this can become very awkward when driving on the motorway, and would be impossible to fix without a passenger helping out
Any advice appreciated.

Looks like it was a bug in the navigon software itself noticed today that there was an update out for the iphone app that fixed this problem. Shame neither tomtom or navigon were helpful.
