I have decided that I cannot cope anymore and decided Co-pilot is not really making my life very easy when trying to navigate anywhere.
The big issue most report is determining current position.
I have all but sorted this with better positioning and ensuring I have opened maps previously.
But the routing is becoming untenable.

So I ask where do I go from here?

All I guess have been using their current choice of navigation software so which should I serious think about jumping ship to.

Any guidance would be greatfully received.

Many topics on this I see with comparison but things have changed a bit and users have been either happy or disappointed with there choice.

All the Best

If you think Co-Pilot is poor for routing then you should have a look at Nav4D as thats about as useless as you can possibly get, even an upside down road atlas with the map open on the wrong page is better than that!

Seriously though the best two nav apps in my opinion currently are Navigon and TomTom, to be honest I don't think there is much between them in terms of functionality, perhaps TomTom has a slight edge due to the IQ Routes and the soon to be offered HD Traffic that has been talked about recently - Mike

Sounds like he is referring to the wife trying to map read while he drives. Wink

Navigon's currently the best featured app in my opinion.

If/when TomTom's HD Traffic update comes out, they arguably have the edge (at a price).

Now if they can both be convinced to support custom PoIs...

Went with Tomtom Western Europe
due to that being on offer and my iTunes vouchers which were on sale made it 35 quid absolute bargain
It has not missed a beat so good to have system I can rely on.

Thank you to everyone for the help
