Hi all

First post I was using the database to update speed camera poiís in an Audi, I have now switched to a bmw which doesnít allow speed cam poiís.
I downloaded the camalert app and it seems to randomly crash on iOS 13.4.1 and as the app hasnít been updated in over 2yrs I was wondering if others had similar issues. Will there be an update to the app which is stable on newer iOS versions?
It may well be that users are using a different app and just loading the pgpsw database into it so advice would be very helpful.
I use the cars inbuilt satnav so only want a basic screen without map on the iphone as it will just use more battery to show a moving map on screen.

Thanks
Sully

Just as a side issue, you can set the preferences in CamerAlert map display to Always on, Only when near (cameras) and Never. You could also get a phone holder and charger to have your phone plugged into power whilst driving.

If you use your phone for phone calls (I suppose that's a possibility!!!), on occasions when CamerAlert is warning whilst during a phone call, it will crash, or drop audio. Ancient problem, well known, seemingly ignored by the developer. Shame really. There are other problems too which arose BEFORE the last time CA was updated. Round about iOS 10 if I remember correctly? Was it something to do with 64bit (I'm a nerd, so I could be wrong, like I was in 1986)?
