Can anyone explain why I get an overspeed warning after the approach warning when well under the speed limit. |

My Garmin POI loader is set for feet and mph, so I assume my warnings are 30 mph, 40 mph etc. |

(Assuming that you're using Camera Manager, which I believe you are)
When you say that you get an Overspeed warning, is this a single "bong" or a repeating "bing bing bing"?
You'll get the reminder "bong" as you enter the Overspeed zone regardless of speed, and the slow down "bing bing bing" only if you're exceeding the posted limit.
What is the displayed name of the camera (usually in a red banner at the top of the screen)? It should be the camera type, PGPSW reference number, and then the speed limit (if known). |

Yes, I am using CM v3.
I get a single warning. However, since I converted the overspeed bong warnings to a single voice file "slow down" I don't get the variation in dongs if I am overspeeding.
Also, since I was unaware that you got an overspeed warning when entering the Overspeed Zone regardless of speed, this probably answers my question. I will convert my voice file back to dongs then I will know if I am overspeeding.
Thanks once again for your help, much appreciated. |
