I don't want to jailbreak my iPhone. Is there a way of adding POI's?

Nope, and even if you JB the phone to add POI files there is very little you can do with them as only Sygic offer anything like a true capability to warn when approaching a custom POI, the other apps are pretty useless in this respect - Mike
