Nissan Connect - problems downloading from site

New user trying to download cameras for Nissan Connect system.All i get when i try to download is page after page repeating over and over again,no sign of where or how to download.
Can anyone HELP.I'm starting to loose patience now.

Welcome to the forum, billws.

I've just successfully downloaded and unzipped all three versions of the "Other - CSV" database, by using the "Download Speed Cams" link under "Speed Cameras" at the top of the screen.

Can you tell us exactly what you're doing and which version you're trying to download.

Hi Anita,
Have tried your suggestion but when i go to "Download" i keep getting the same page over again.
Have tried several times but,,,same page telling me to download.
Its really doing mt head in,wish i'd never started in the first place

Looking at this more closely, I suspect you're not scrolling down the screen to the "Download Here" area, where you select your satnav system (or in your case "Other - CSV") from the drop-down box.

Come back and let us know if this doesn't solve your problem.

Just to confirm where it's going wrong for you, you're on the Download Database screen. You scroll down to where it says "Download Here", and selecting "Other - CSV" from the drop-down box, and clicking "Continue". You should get a screen with another drop-down box for selecting which version of the database you wish to download - I believe for the Nissan Connect you have to select "Single file with all cameras". At which point are you getting "ERROR ON PAGE"?

Hi again,
Somehow i've managed to do it!
Am i right in placing all of the files which are a mix of bitmap and csv into the my/poi folder and then the csv files into the sub-folder called POI warnings

The installation guide is here.

The files need to go into the x:\myPOIs\myPOIWarnings folder where 'x:' is the drive letter of your USB memory stick when inserted into your computer.

The instructions don't seem to tell you where to put the bmp file, Darren. I would have expected it to go into the x:\myPOIs\myPOIWarnings folder with the csv file.

As far as we can establish, the Nissan system only requires the .csv file and uses its own Icon image.

I've corrected the install guide to remove reference to the .bmp files.

Many thanks to those who helped me to sucessfully download Safety Cameras and other POI's for my Nissan Connect system.
Special thanks to Anita who was so patient. Now that i know exactly how to do it, then i can now get more POI's as those pre-loaded onto the system are VERY limited.
Once again a big thanks to all involved.
