I thought I'd better do a quick check because it doesn't display in my Firefox 3.0.15, so I checked IE 8 and it does show there.

Many thanks Dennis, not showing in my FF 3.5.5 either. tried a few different pages in case i was missing something.
I wasn't sure if it was a sarcastic comment or not, so didn't say anything before.
It's a nice gesture.

Displays in Firefox 3.5.4 no problem.

No, it certainly wasn't a sarcastic comment. I realy meant it in the best way possible - My thoughts and prayers are with all our troops, past, present and future.

I was offered as an update a few days ago and I got a pop up today to say that 3.5.5 is available for download now.

Will be doing that later - I think they increment the version number for security patches as well as major revisions.

No, not saying that for one moment.
It wasn't showing on mine, and I checked a few other pages I don't usually go to in case it was showing on them. But no joy, so I didn't say anything.
I worded my post wrong looking at it now.

So when Dennis said he had probs as well, I thought 'ah ah,that's ok then' it's not just me. Just checked using Safari and I can see it on there, looks good. And like you say, very much appreciated.

Bob.

Dennis, I'm on a Mac, maybe the Mac and PC versions are different?

I found I had to clear the cache and reload the page to see the poppy.

Using XP and FF 3.5.5

I'm confused!

I'm on 3.0.10 (and I can see the poppy). If I select "Check for updates" from the Help menu I get offered 3.0.15.

But if I go to the Mozilla website and select "Upgrade to latest version" it offers 3.5.5. Confused

I think 3.5.4 & 3.5.5 are security updates to 3.5.x and are only offered if it is detected by the Mozilla servers that they are required.

Thanks for rubbing it in, Bob - Macs work. Here I am struggling with ******* Windows 7. Evil or Very Mad

Hey, I've got a poppy with Firefox now and it's really impressive. I had no idea how to clear the cache (Oldboy) so I poked around and eventually found it and cleared it (I don't know what damage it's done though).

You've gotta say it's a lot better than Google's Sesame Street.
