panorama view actually looked really good at MWC. it's full 3d terrain - i.e. if the road ahead dips into a valley, you can see it dipping. very similar to igo8.

Ran my navigon pnd through the alps at the beginning of march and I have to say the Panorama view looks awsome. When the landscape is that varied it really shows up on the screen. Although at one point the road on my screen just stopped!!! as the dipp in the road was so seviere! Shocked

Downloading 1.5.0 now!

£6.99 for the 3D, at least on the British Isles version.

used 1.5 today - no issues with gps positioning using the built in gps on an un-jb'd 3g.

Same price on the euro version.

Ran 1.5 tonight and it was fine as usual but a whole lot prettier with 3D!

Is it just me or is Navigon barely usable on a 3G now. I've bought the traffic info and the 3D panorama, but its barely responsive now. They should really state its for 3GS only (I'm presuming it works perfectly on 3GS). How is it for everyone else on a 3G?

There's a heck of a lot to like with Navigon. Especially now with the panorama view.

However the routing makes me think sometimes that I should have got the TT app.
When it calculates a reroute, it sometimes seems to do it without really thinking it out properly and many times I've just had to do my own thing.

Assuming it's the same as on PDAs, with Automatic and On-Request rerouting, are you on Auto? If so I'd suggest switching to On-Request so that you can see the route it suggests. I've never trusted Auto rerouting up to now.

But routing on PDA is normally pretty good in my experience - with all the Facebook complaints about the iphone implementation, I rather assumed they've got problems with either the latest app or the old maps, and will improve in the near future (?)

I have upgraded now to Navigon 1.51, I have opted for the traffic info but it announces there is traffic information that is effecting my route but I cannot see any way to find out what the road problem is, it maybe me missing something but if anyone can offer advice I would be grateful.

If I remember correctly there are two options that work. the first should be a red traffic notice that appears above the next turn arrows when a report is activated, which you can touch to veiw. The other way is to select options on the top right and scroll down to 'Traffic Messages' to generally veiw all traffic reports whenever it suits.
