520 RDS socket bust

The socket surround plastic has broken away from the board mount so the plug won't stay in.

Does anyone know a way of connecting the RDS wires direct to the board inside?

You could try contacting TomTom CS on 0845 161 0009 to see if a repair is possible or as an alternative go for the mini USB style receiver, I very much doubt soldering the wires directly to the PCB will work very well at all, even if you manage to attach the wires they wouldn't stay connected for too long as you remove the device from the car each day - Mike
