Lost bitmap on S50 -been on for 2 years now gone?

After downloading safety cams 3 downloads ago I now only get a pushpin where b4 was a camera bitmap. I have uninstalled and re-installed 3 times but to no avail - I noticed in a post some weeks ago on a differant Navman model, that it was advised to reduce the colour to 8 bit, I have looked for this without any luck.
Any help (In laymans terms please) would be appreciated - thanks in anticipation. barrowman.
p.s. Been using PGPSW downloads for over 18 mths.
