Replacement Battery TomTom 720

Is anyone aware of a reliable battery replacement facility where I could deliver and WAIT for a battery replacement installation for a TOMTOM 720? My location is ESSEX.

I'm aware that it is possible to have a replacement arranged by post, but do not wish to post, or be without the device for a period.

They are very easy to fit- buy one from

and they do a tool set as well. You should be up and running in ten minutes!

I certainly wouldn't say they are THAT easy to fit, especially for the uninitiated.
Read all three pages of THIS TOPIC, especially the warnings on page three.

What seems strange to me is the stated voltage. The site claims they are 3.7V. Confused

Surely the originals are 5V!

All Li-Ion cells are 3.6v (or 3.7v if the manufacturer prefers an alternative measuring standard) so single Li-Ion batteries will always be rated at 3.6 or 3.7v and multi-cell packs will me rated at 7.2/7.4v, 10.8/11.1v etc.

The 5v rating refers to the USB charger which is stepped down to charge the battery.
