HOME 2.7.1.1812 Upgrade Problems and Server Error

Hi all!

I am back and moaning again!

Just upgraded to HOME 2.7.1.1812 and the upgrade would not open and kept bringing up an error message. Re-downloaded HOME and on installing it gave an error with a file in the xul folder. I deleted it and it then installed ok.

Now when I check for updates for my device I get an error message about not being able to contact the server?

Anyone else having this problem and does Tomtom actually test its software upgrade process before making it live?

I had a NA member getting the error referring to TT servers at about the same time. It just could have been that the TT servers were down at the time. Known to happen.

Just downloaded the "update" and it works fine. They seem to have corrected the problem of CPU usage. The programme works just like a normal programme!!

I have found HOME 2.7 crashes on my laptop (Win 7 X64 Full RTM from TechNET). I have noticed it only does this if IE8 is open.

We see you’re using an ad-blocker. We’re fine with that and won’t stop you visiting the site.
Have you considered making a donation towards website running costs?.
Or you could disable your ad-blocker for this site. We think you’ll find our adverts are not overbearing!
