Great wish I hadn't bothered.
now I can't start tomtom home, won't open giving me this error
Component returned failure code 0x80004005 (NS_ERROR_FAILURE)
[nsIProperties.get]
Treid to go back to 2.6 but I get the same error with that version to.
running windows 7 RC1 on a laptop. :( |

| Oh sorted it my user area wasn't available on my pc so home wouldn't start as it couldn't find the files it needed. |

No. It works ok for me. It got stuck when it started up immediately after installing but I have had no further problems after rebooting the PC. |
Also I rebooted and it works fine on Windows 7 as well  |

I tried again with the new tt 2.7, had the same problems again took 20 mins to load, got a blue screen(technical) whatever that means and my p.c went dead on me. I also downloaded the new map update, this in turn has lost my live traffic, not tmc traffic as i saw someone else had lost, can anyone give a reason or answer to this problem.  i am a retard unless it works fine. |

View the contents of the device using Windows Explorer and go to your Wester_Europe or UK&ROI map folder, open this and see if the two following files are present (make a note of the file sizes)
tmccodes.dat
traffic.dat
Are they present or missing, and if they are there what size are they? - Mike |

Similar problem,have been using the 2.7 then a "critical "update was down loaded all came to a stop now back on 2.6.4.1641

Just updated HOME and the version shows as 2.7.1.1812
Works just fine so far  |
