POI Warner Query

Hi,

I am one of the, seemingly, growing band of people hoping to get hold of a Medion unit in Aldi this coming Thursday.

I have been trying to learn as much about it as possible, and these forums seem like a Godsend.

If I understand what I`ve learnt so far today,,, the unit will probably have Navigon route software on it?

I am mostly interested in using the unit as a speed camera detection tool first and then for location finding second... would I be correct in thinking that if I purchase POI-Warner and download the speed camera file from this site that the first objective will be possible??

(I am a little confused as in the POI-Warner review also on this site it seems very much to be a Tomtom add on with no mention of it working with Navigon also - however in this forum lots of people speak about using POI-Warner on their Aldi units?!)

yes. POI Warner runs with various GPS programs, including TomTom and Navigon/Medion/Aldi/Lidl bundles
