Voices - Go720

Hi, I hope someone can help.

I have loaded the speed camera database plus " Vicki" warning announcements and they all work very well.

However, when using the traffic service (using the TT TMC reciever) and a traffic update comes in, if I touch the screen and ask for the delay details to be read aloud, the GO 720 says it cannot do that as I am using a "recorded human voice" is there a work around for this. The same thing happens if I ask the GO 720 to read aloud singposts etc.

You need to select Kate - the Computer Voice and it should work OK. With theis voice you should get spoken directions, street names, SMS messages (assuming you have a compatible 'phone). The other (non-comp) voices are intended for navigation only.

There is an option to use a recorded voice for navigation, and a computer voice for warnings etc.

Check your voice preferences.
