How do you correct route errors it wants to route me up a side rd, when the main rd is clearly visible .it takes me all round the estate .instead of doing one left turn .anybody know?,thanks in advance

To be honest if it's a routing error, (and i know the type you mean, where it takes you off a perfectly good main road and routes you around the backs of houses and back onto the main road a mile or 2 later) all you can do is tell Garmin. There's no way to correct this other than ignore the daft routing and it'll recalculate (not always possible though).

Of course you can also do the other thing i did which was dump the Garmin and switch to TomTom.

Interestingly i never had this problem with my StreetPilot i3. The 760 does it a lot and the 765 is worse (it much prefers i go through the centre of London than around the M25 when going up north) Sadly I did contact Garmin about this (and a few other matters) once but their response was

well cheers m8 seem to have a lot of probs with this unit.ime sorry i got rid of my tomtom.only thing is i have paid for the lifetime maps. so got to stick with this.anyway thanks for reply.
