Can anyone please advise what SD is compatible with the TomTom 930T, namely:

SD and/or SDHC?
Mb limit (2, 4 ….)?

Cheers,

Mark

SDHC cards up to 32 megs work with your model.

But, get a decent brand (e.g, SanDisk, Kingston, etc.)

Excellent! I'm off to the States and can get a Transcend 8Gb 6x for $19 Smile

By the way, I never saw this documented in the TomTomn literature ....

Cheers,

Mark

I use SDHC cards made by Peak, you can get an 8GB version for under £20 from CPC, these are class 6 (the fastest) and work very well in the x20/ x30 units. They also supply 16GB capacity class 6 for around £30 these also work in the TomTom units read the spec rather than the image to confirm the class (speed) - Mike

It's all on the Tomtom support website...
Which memory card should I buy for additional maps?

Of course, I meant the literature that came with the device, the paper stuff Wink

Thanks for the link. I must admit to having spent most of my time browsing the Pocket GPS forums, rather than the TomTom website!

Cheers,

Mark

Another one ..... only by digging your link did I find the advice about manually copying the cfg file in the maps folder before updating a map, otherwise you may lose your favourites ..... Evil or Very Mad

Mark
