Hi all

If I convert a track to a route does the data get saved. Ie if I was to open up the route in the future will the data ie time/distance/speed etc be shown in the data log.

if not can it be done some other way ?

Many thanks

Mike

Simply store the raw track data. This is to be found on the Active 10 and will have a .GPX extension. Can't remember the exact file name but it was something along the lines My_Raw_Track_Log_number.GPX where number was 5 in my case - it will change from log to log. They aren't all that big - a 10 hr log was 2.6Mb on my device. Converting a track to route will loose quite a bit of data otherwise.

I agree with philpugh that the My Track n Raw.gpx is the most useful file but you won't be able to see this data when copied back to Satmap. However, if you must display it on the Satmap, then save the .map file, you can copy it back and display some data via the routes menu. The downside, as philpugh says, is that the data is much compacted(almost one reading per minute).
