Sorry if this has been covered but when using your search I've been getting between 3000 and 8225 possible links....
I'm trying to use an MMC/SD card with Jpeg/MP3 tunes in my 530 but it does not see it. Even when connected to the pc and looking at the contents of the 530 it does not see anything other than folders on its internal drive.
Am I trying to do something that the 530 does not do ie.
-use SD slot for something other than maps?
-using wrong kind of SD or format like Fat / Fat 32?
-Does it have to be a SD card or will an MMC with adapter do same job?
-will it only play jpeg/mp3's put into its internal folders?
If these have been answered before, can you please point me in the right direction with possibly a link?

For mp3's they need to be in a folder called mp3 and for pictures you need a folder called photos.
Create these folders on your SD card and move the music and image files into them and all will be well. They are case sensitive so make sure the folder names are as shown in bold above.

Hopefully you're sorted by now, but you need to be aware that the PC should see the TT internal memory and the SD card slot as TWO separate disk drives.
Usually the SD card slot has the lower letter in the alphabet, so for example, it may be drive F - SD card, drive G - internal memory (your actual letters used may be different). |
