Hi all

I have been charging mine as follows:2x3 hours with the unit switched on plus 4 hours with the unit switch off and the icon still shows the battery as charging. Does this sound right ?

Also is the only way of checking it to unplug it and then switch on to check.

Many thanks for your time.

Regards

Mike

I plug my unit into the mains in the evening, wait til the charging icon appears, then 'switch it off' - actually it goes into a kind of screen off mode. I leave the screen alert function on to remind me it's charging. By morning the display is on, with the charging icon having been replaced with the battery indicator showing 4 bars. I haven't got round to timing how long the process actually takes.

I tend to connect it to the mains charger the night before I intend using it and leave it overnight, by morning its at 100% and more than capable of lasting a full day. This won't damage the battery as overcharging the cell isn't possible, the device regulates what is going on while charging - Mike
