McGuider 2009 on Nokia N96

I've got Mcguider 2009 v 7.7 working on my Nokia N96 but have noticed that when viewing a route I can t seem to get the display to show the travel direction as up in the 2D flat view. It only seems to allow North up; I would prefer to have my route direction as up but it seems it only allows that in 3D mode. Anyone come across this?

I cant answer for the Symbian version but in the Windows Mobile one you can select from 3D, 2D North Up and 2D Direction Up from the main menu. My understanding is the Symbian and WM versions are supposed to be similar in function so if these options are not available first make sure you are using the latest release (7.71) by updating using McGuider Assistant. Once you are using the latest release it might be worth emailing Sygic support for assistance.

BTW I am starting to receive some emails from Sygic dated in March this year (they appear to have been stuck in a mail server somewhere). I have had replies since but it is worth remembering that ther may be issues with replies being slow.

On the Nokia 5800 XM (Touch Screen)You can select all 3 choices but not from a list or group of icons.If I am in North up view and want to change options ,its tap settings and the icon has label with "3D" under the icon but to get to track up I first have to select the 3 D which then goes back to the Navigation map ,then tap settings and the icon then has the option for flat view which is track up .I problably make it sound complicated the way I put it but in effect each time you go back to the icon its instruction as to what it does has changed but all 3 are there in turn!
