zumo 550 and poi downloader

i'm trying to put some poi's onto the zumo but i get so far and then it stops responding once the original folder has been located, and the unit idientified. same problem if i try to put them on mapsource

any ideas.
my pc uses vista home premium

If this happens once you have selected the folder and clicked next, leave it. If you are loading a lot of data it's common to see the program has stopped responding and assume it's crashed. Leave it and it should complete.

To test try reducing the number of POIs you are loading and see if that works. Then build up.
