Updating friends and familys Tomtom's

I spoke to Tomtom the other day and told them I felt that Tomtom should allow a person to help other people update their units on the one email account. Many of the public do not have a computer to do this, and many who have one, also do not know how to update and put in cameras. I try to help others update their units and copy their contents, but will soon run out of e-mail address's. Tomtom said they were looking to do this but did not know when. It would help their sales. Have You heard anything regarding this!

You don't need to use "real" email addresses.
Anything in the format "blahblah@somewhere.com" will do as an acceptable TomTom account name for each machine.

I've done this several times, and you aren't missing anything except a few advertising emails.

If you'd prefer to use "real" ones, you can always get free addresses from Yahoo etc just for the device. My TT has it's own email address that isn't used for anything else.
