Google Earth Route disappearing

Hi all

I down loaded a gpx file to google earth which appear fine at a large scale but when I zoom in sections disappear !

Any ideas why ?

If it is relating to POI's in the gpx file, there is a slider in the top right part of the map section of Google earth - The slider can be adjusted to show POI over time oldest to newest. I have found that sometimes I am missing POIs until I adjust this slider to show all time.

I had something similar in Google Earth when the Satmap was using elevation from GPS. Sometimes sections of the route disappeared under the surface of the earth because slight inaccuracies in the GPS elevation put my position below ground level. I think it may have only happened when terrain was switched on in Google Earth.

Possibly not what is happening to you though.
