Could anyone please tell me if he/she have tried the mcguider 2008/9 (europe) maps for the looket G8. Or if there are any recommendations for the maps (europe) that may work on the Looket G8.

It is possible they may work (although they are only available with the full software application too) although it is also possible that the map format has been changed between releases.
Do you know the core operating system used on the Looket G8? It may be possible to update both the maps and the software if it runs on one of the supported core OS (Symbian or Windows Mobile).
