I have the very good HTC Kaiser 1615 (Vodafone) running TomTom Navigator and Windows Mobile 6.1 Pro with an 8 Gig memory card.
My question's are:
Can I use the voice's for speed limit warnings and change the blue arrow for a nice car image on this device or is that for TomTom hardware only?
Can I use the new version of Tomtom home?
I am subscribed to both Tomtom and this sites speed camera updates but I have often found the Tomtom file to show the wrong speed limit through roadworks. Is ther any known conflicts using pocketgpsworld files while still using the Tomtom Home configeration utility?
Any help would be most welcome.
Kind regards

Michael

The ogg files for the spoken alerts to accompany the Pocket GPS World database will work fine on your device.

I am not too sure, if the current version of Home works with your device why do you need to update it?

If you mean the TomTom Safety Cameras are wrong within road works then I am not to surprised as they don't get updated frequently enough, you can use both databases to warn of cameras on your device but why bother? - the speed camera POI files will have nothing to do with the speed limit displayed in the lower right corner of the screen - Mike

Many thanks for the info........
I will try to install the files and let you know.
This is the best group site I have ever joined, the speed of response is great.

Kind regards
