Go 940 mount

Can any one recommend a good long reach mount for my Go 940?
I have it in the truck but its along way away to operate easily.

How about a dash disc? Stick that to the dash then affix the 940's mount sucker to that? Cheap and effective if you have a spot on the dash that is suitable?
