Anybody have any knowledge or info on the amazegps wich is apparently free and runs on phones using java.

Have now looked at this site, although supposedly free service it appears that downloading maps incur data charges, but apparently from next release V5 these will be downloadable from the internet (scheduled for 3 months) operating for both Java and symbian so could be very interesting if you can believe what you read.
add: it appears to offer a fully functional navigation system
