Routes and tracks problem?

If I have a track I can replay it. But, how do I make a track without going out physically and making a track?

When I replay a track (supplied example one) I hear nice messages. But how do I get those nice messages when I make a route? The example says load a route, load a track then replay. But, if you don't yet have a track?

I am very new having just installed ozie and want to check the sounds before I start out on a planned route. It appears I cannot do a replay same as for a track?
