Is anybody else having problems keeping a signal? I get one at home in Holmes Chapel but then it disappears as I drive to Northwich and then onto Altrincham. On my way home I got no signal at all.

Thanks in advance.

RDS-TMC Reception is a postcode lottery in the UK, although for the area you mention I would have thought the transmission on 105,4 Century FM would work. This is one of the independent radio stations that the data provider (iTIS) use to suplement the main network employed in the UK via Classic FM.
Make sure the aerial is at least 2" away from the edge of the windscreen to avoid vehicle interference, also what type of car do you have the unit within, some vehicles employ "Athermic Glass" often known as heat reflective, these screens wipe out the FM signal making reception even more problematic - Mike

I have tested the cable by attaching it to a window at work (Altrincham) and home (Holmes Chapel). I get a perfect signal within minutes each time.

Just need to get it to work in my car now Crying

BTW I've got a 1999 Fiat Marea, I dont think it's got one of them volcanic screens. Rolling Eyes

Thanks for the help.

Same here. I used to get a great signal all the time but it's become very patchy since last week.

I'll keep trying new positions for the cable 'til I get it right. Mad
