Speed camera download

Hi, I'm probably a complete numpty and missing the correct page but can you assist me please.

I have a Garmin Nuvi 255WT and i need the POI loader. I've linked to Garmin site for the POI loader and it downloaded onto my pc.

Basically, how do I know it's gone to my device? Plus, do I need to activate anything or transfer it and then download which speed camera data base and how does it get from my pc to my device.

It's probably me but can you point me in the right direction so that I can download into my device please. Preferably simple instructions.

Once you have downloaded POILoader you will need to install it on your PC. Once done you will have a POILoader Icon in your StartMenu.

Once you have installed POILoader (double click the file you downloaded and follow the instructions) you can follow the instructions here for loading the Speed Camera Database.

Personally when you go to download load i recommend selecting

GarminPOILoader

then

Consolidated Database
