TT Go 530 speed camera updates question

Hi, having only had my TT 530 I noticed that during either the 1st or 2nd set of updates there is an update for tom tom official safety cameras. Is this common for newly purchased devices or just a one off thing as I wasn't expecting any camera updates?

Also this update seems to indicate camera locations as well as the speed limit for the road itself. Will these still need to be setup on the POI in terms of audible alert and distance etc? I notice that http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/uksafetycameras-tomtom-go.php gives a guide and approx distances.

With a new device you should get a single update to the camera database from TomTom, to set up the alerts you need to go to TomTom Services/ TomTom Safety Cameras/ Change Warning Preferences and set them up from there rather than following the instructions for the Speed Camera Database from this site as they operate in a different way.
They are not as comprehensive as the offering from this site as I have been using the TomTom camera database recently, the mobile camera locations are not worth a jott, and the fixed cameras are not to the same standard as the data from this site - Mike
