BT308 ext antenna...noobie question.

Hi all,

I have the BT308 and inside my car (citroen xsara coupe) it really struggles to get a signal because of the heat reflecting glass.

I have the external antenna that I was thinking of installing against the glass on a window I know it will get a signal on...So heres my question (allbeit a bit daft).

The external antenna has a flat base with a white plate and a rounded black top... which side do I place against the glass

Its just attched itself to my microwave via the magnetic base...I guess thats answered my question!
