How about (if technically possible) adding a PM button to each staff member and reviewer on the http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/contact.php page so that subscribers can send them a private message rather than an email That way the people listed know that at least the message is from a subscriber rather than any old spammer out there on the interwebby.

It might be handy to have the PM button also on review pages so that subscribers can notify a reiviewer of factual errors/typos etc. without it showing up in a forum.

On the subject of reviews, I notice there are 3 navigon reviews available from the left nav list yet only oldest one appears in PND review section. - I know this is the wrong forum for this bit but I am in a hurry.

PM's are OK for the occasional message but we don't want to be bogged down with private messages nor emails.

On average I receive over 500 emails a day (2-3000 inc SPAM) and it's hard enough to wade through and deal with them without handling a few dozen PM's a day as well.

Unless the issue is a subscription or other urgent enquiry we would much prefer the forums are used for queries. There are only a few of us and we have a third of a million members!

Emails sent to our subscriptions and support addresses go to a group of us to ensure a response is received as quickly as possible, PM's are not a suitable alternative.

We all love interacting with you all but we're victims of our success and so PM's and emails are no longer options we can offer for everyone.
