Sounds a very fair deal to me! Going to do it saturday! Finally a logical approach to map updating!

I cannot access the subscription option either for North America with Home 2.4. I called TomTom earlier today and they told me it should work. I'll have to call them again tomorrow during business hours to check what is wrong. Sad

It looks as tho the same deal has not been rolled out for North America. After updating to 2.4, I'm only offered the latest map for $129 US, no mention of quarterly updates.

Same here gator!

Darren do you know if its going to be made available out here?

Hey Gator,

Did you see the result sunday Phins destroyed Pats.

Hi
Call me thick if you want......I have updated Home to 2.4, but how to you get TT to offer the quarterly updates?

You need to connect to HOME, then press the button "Add Maps, Traffic, Voices etc." on the page that appears, pick "Maps".
You will then get a screen up telling you what price you are going to pay. Smile

UK & Republic of Ireland maps 1 quarter old on a 520

Upgrade to the latest map £6.95 + £6.95 quarter = £34.75

At less than the cost of the map alone last month it seems an excellent deal Very Happy

Snap

This is a brilliant deal

Does anyone know the pricing structure for the Western Europe maps please?

Does anyone know if the new version of HOME has fixed the bug that requires you to choose the voices every time you have operated the device using HOME?

Launch HOME and follow the update links and you will be provided with an individual update quote, no obligation to purchase.

The bug seems to affect only some people and even then not all of the time.

I use HOME regularly (I wish I didn't have to but that is another matter) and have only ever had an issue with POI Alerts three or four times and voices only once.

Whether the issue has been resolved in this release won't truly be known until we have all had the opportunity to test it for a bit.

Thanks Darren, it always does it to me after operating through HOME 2.3. I'll be updating this evening and will give it a try. I'll let you know what happens.

Hi
I did this yesterday and all I am offered is to buy the maps at full price, £99.95, but no info of any discounted time related offers.
Just removed TT Home v2.3 and v2.4, did a clean reinstall of v2.4, rebooted and a pin reset but still no offers Sad

In one of your earlier posts you say you have a V8.05 map on a 920, could this be the problem?

Could it be because of that little loophole that was there for a few days, and is stopping you going to the next map?

What if you try to put your older map v7.?? on and then connect to HOME does that make any difference?

I have no idea if this is the case, just a suggestion.

Cheers

Carl

I have the v8.05 map on my 720 purchased and downloaded during 'loophole' time and have just gone through the update process with no problems - total price £49.95.

The map is downloading as I write this.
