POI categories?

What defines a POI category? Is it the source filename that POILoader (for Garmin) finds?

For example, I have red-light, Gatso and mobile files - is that 3 catagories?

Yes that would be 3 categories.

Similarly if you had 3 files called Lloyd's TSB, HSBC and Halifax that would be 3 too, but one file with all the banks in called Banks would be one.
