I would like to import a list of POIs (as a gpx file). I can do this no problem via SatSync.

However, ideally I would like to import them, and subsequently imported POIs, into a specific 'category', or move them into a specified category once imported.

Is this possible?...or does each import create a new POI category?

(I use the Satmap for Geocaching and have created a POI category called 'Caches'. Thefore whenever I import a new cache, I would like it to appear under the 'Cache' category of POIs)

OK, as nobody seems to be able to comment on this...I will answer my own question! On further investigation this does not appear to be possible.

Surely, when you highlight the Cache POI category, hit Edit, then create your new POI by map or grid reference, and hey presto..(I think.) You will then have to edit its proper description though...instead of, eg POI 58 or whatever it says.

Hi, yes you are correct - however, I am referring to waypoints/POI's uploaded to the A10, not created with the A10. I want to be able to upload (or move) POI's to a specific category.

I managed to get POIs imported from a gpx file.
This was exported from Live Maps to generate the code.
No route was selected only a collection of "push-pins".
