Should I upgrade my TomTom One 3rd (v8)?

I have done lots of reading and is trying to decide if I want to upgrade my TT3rd. From what I can tell (correct me if I am wrong) it looks like I loose the compass settings and itinerary no longer works with the custom menu. Also some of the third party apps do not work.

What I get from v8 is ability to change car icon (which I can do with a program) and new mapshare choices. Also support for HD receiver which is not supported in US and subscription based fuel prices.

Did that sum it up? Did I miss any anything? All you TT3rd, is it worth the upgrade????

That sounds like you've summed it up excellently.
Only thing you didn't mention was the advanced lane guidance stuff, that you'd only get with a v8 map anyway.
