| I have only just joined this site and i have downloaded the last two PGPSW updates for the DS.My problem is that when i load up the PGPSW database onto the DS using the client loader version 1.5 as an extra database,although the DS recognises the camera's i always get the message Speed Too Fast if i am doing over 19mph when i approach the camera,regardless if the actual speed limit is 30 or 40 etc.If i erase the PGPSW database from the DS then everything works fine again.Can anyone help |

19 warning in a 30 limit...
With Garmin units this happens when you select a MPH database but set the uploading software to KPH....
I'm not overly familiar with the DS system so all i can offer is you need to make sure the software is loading the database in the unit using MPH and not KPH. |

How does the DS behave if you load a DS provided database?

You cannot choose MPH or KPH when uploading the PGPSW database you can only upload the file
If i load the DS provided Database the unit works fine |

how about just using the PGPSW database rather than using it as an 'extra' database?
have you edited the file in anyway? the kph / mph is a value in the file itself - the 4th column should be '1' which is mph (kph = 0)
-0,19830;51,84749;70;1;9;202 = lon ; lat ; speed ; mph/kph ; camera type ; heading

I cannot use just the PGPSW database because i am using the drivesmart loader 1.5.0 client version prog which does not allow you to use the PGPSW database as the main database nor does it allow you to delete the existing DS main database.Having looked at the ds instructions on the site i can see that there is a DS loader 1.4.16 Private Version Prog which does allow you to do this but i havn't got a copy and don't know how to get one.
I have followed the DS instructions option1 that are on the site and not modifyed the file in any way |

someone somewhere here will have it and likely email you a copy. we used to host it but DS threatened us with legal action so it has now gone...

ps - i'm guessing v1.5 is the 'new' version for the new firmware for the DS's? if so then we were warned about possible incompatibilities with it... |

I wonder if this new 1.5.0 s/ware is designed to set the DS, so that it can't be removed once installed?

Thanks for the advice so if anybody has a copy of the DRIVESMART LOADER v 1.4.16(PRIVATE VERSION) PROG i would be grateful if you could send it to me.At least i could then see if it sorts out my problem |

Does anybody have the Drivesmart Loader 1.4.16 Private Version Prog because i downloaded the new DS Database today and as usual it is missing cameras so i would like to use the PGPSW DATABASE instead |
