Compatibility between GNS 5843 receiver and Ipaq 214.

Hi, I have recently bought a GNS 5843 receiver to use with " Destinator 7 with TrafficSam " and as my old ipaq 2215 was giving up the ghost I also bought an Ipaq 214. While I can get a connection between the receiver and the ipaq 2215 I cannot get an active connection with the Ipaq 214.The problem seems to be that the GNS info says to disable the "Authentication key code required " and I have done this in the "Services " tab of Bluetooth Mgr on the ipaq 214 ,but the software still asks for a "Authentication Pin code " The connection then fails to make if I don't enter a code and I have also tried to enter 0000. The support from HP has been abysmal and just refers me to the GNS manufacturer offering no suggestions at all ,not even which interface to use on the ipaq 214. I was hoping someone here might be able to help or are they just incompatible ? many thanks Tony

Finally found the answer . In Bluetooth Mgr under Gns serial port ,"properties" I had not unchecked the "authentication required " box. Now working ! thanks Tony
