I'm not sure that anybody said that as such, but what was said is that this map sale is scheduled to last until the end of July, hence it will be August at the earliest before new maps might be announced _________________ Andy

BUT August the first is a Friday which is the start of the Bank Holiday weekend, new releases have tended to be on/ around Bank Holidays in the past - nothing sure fire in this, just speculation based on previous form - Mike |

I think you'll find it's a Bank Holiday weekend in the RoI and Scotland, but not in England, Mike! _________________ Anita

I was gonna poke fun at you ("molesting the Goofy" I think y'all call it), then I remembered that there were two version of the One 3rd edition. The One I had until it died after 200 miles of use had "1 GB" of internal memory. Plenty of room for the 861.5 MB required for the W.Europe map. But on the regionals? Well, I guess not so much. |

Well, I guess not so much. | The regional One Third Edition only has 512MB of memory built in to it, you can get away with individual country maps on the device but the full Europe or NA map is out of the question - Mike |

Yes, I know. That's what I was referring to above. |

No reason to complain really - the ad is true as stated, indeed possibly even a little more generous!
You can, after all, get all 1.4Mb of Singapore for a mere 19.95 - reduced form 29.95.
Bargain for all those heading for the GP later in the year ...

Well done. I did start looking for one that actually had 30% off but got bored before I found one. Sadly I don't expect that the Singapore map will be useful to me. |

As the new maps only have changes that have been added to existing maps, that we have already paid for!
Why do we have to pay full price anyway?
Why not, just for the additional data and work involved?
If you have an extension built on your home, you don't pay for your original home again, do you? |

It is your choice. Keeping voluntarily the own currency in EU is not necessarily an advantage, you have to accept the disadvantages, too.
I don't complain, we spend hundreds of pounds when visiting in May in London, but we got much more things with same amount Euros compared to our last year visit to Manchester. _________________ Harry (TT GO720T) |
