I am getting iPaq214 - no choice - insurance replacement for hx4700
I previously had CF GPSr for TomTom, Russa and Ozi
I prefer the CF option - one less gadget to charge - can have external antenna for the GPS
I was thinking of Globalsat BC337
But I've read that WM 5 & 6 don't like CF GPS - is this true?

Any advice welcome on CF vs BT
And best buys for either/both

The main problems with CF GPS receivers when using WM5 seems to have been when using Dell products or GPS receivers with a memory card slot built in.
The BC337 is a decent unit, I use a Holux GR-271 when using CF which is another great device but rather hard to find these days. The 271 consumes less power than using the Bluetooth when combined with the iPAQ-4700 from what I have found. I have used the GR-271 with an ipaq-2495 running WM5 and it worked fine.
If you want to consider a Bluetooth GPS though I would look at This which is a decent unit at a real bargain price - we even included it as "Deal of the day" last weekend - Mike
