Anyone else getting a 4 sec delay via Bluetooth Audio?

I am using the TomTom Go 730T with a JVC KD-BT1 in-car Bluetooth stereo which supports being a hi-fi device. I have successfully set the two devices up together and get great quality music and turn-by-turn directions through my car speakers.

HOWEVER, when using the Bluetooth audio, it is played with a delay of about 4 seconds, which is catastrophic when having to make some quick manoeuvres where there are a sequence of turns in quick succesion. TomTom tells me to make the turn 4 seconds after I have either already made it, or 4 seconds after I have driven past it completely.

I am sure 100% it is a delay in the TomTom outputting the Bluetooth Audio because:

1) I use other Bluetooth Audio devices and a Bluetooth Phone and only the TomTom has the delay
2) If I click 'disconnect' on my car stereo, what I hear on the car speakers when the music reverts back to the TomTom's speakers has a gap of 4 seconds in the song (like a record jumping forward 4 seconds)
3) If I use the TomTom speaker and press its volume, I hear the next turn instantly. If I use the Bluetooth output, I hear the next turn 4 seconds after I press the volume.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

I use bluetooth audio from my 720 and 930 and I have never experianced this, although I have selected the option to not pause music when issuing nav instructions, you only get this option when using the BT Audio output.
Sometimes I have music via BT and nav instructions from built in speaker, again I use the option to not pause the music even when using this method though in any case never experianced a delay - Mike
