Hi all,
Can I ask the experts a moment?
I have a HP Ipaq 6915 running TTN6, the maps, which I bought in the last 6 months are now old and I need to upgrade to V6.75.
I've seen the cost of the latest maps and also the cost of using TomTom Plus, (I'm a Pay As You Go customer - Orange).
As I have to upgrade my maps version, I am wondering IF, it's possible to utilise another GPS software package and have TMC for free??
Please say it is!...... I was stuck for hours on the M5 motorway this week after a heavy goods vehicle crashed, if I'd have had prior warning, I could, (possibly) have avoided the traffic.
Colleagues I know have cheaper GPS systems with FREE TMC!
For reference - I travel throughout the UK and also sometimes veture into France in the sumer time sometime.

Hi guys, sorry for this last replay, but even, butter laster then never...
Fact:
I was naïf like other, when I bought the tomtom maps western and eastern Europe, how cost me 129 euros in December 2006.
In Madrid, we have a tunnel which the open in it in 2004, I didn't had it... the European road how connect Berlin with Warsaw, arround 800km. I hadn't... it's absolutely terrible...
Solution:
You call to TomTom help disk, and you get one of tow answers:
1. You have no idea to update your maps.
2.Your device don't work correctly to find the route.
After discussing, the crash you the phone, and no reasonable way to solve it...
Alternative and practical solution:
I update version 6 to 7 cracking the software,
Really, it's antitrust and a stol that we pay some think to buy tomtom software... and the solution, I hope that we find a manner to install MIO in our IPAQ6915, but any developer how can help??

Sam, we have a zero tollerance policy towards software piracy as it is quite simply theft, this is why I HAVE REMOVED THE LINK TO THE ILLEGAL MAP DOWNLOAD, please do not post such information on PocketGPSWorld or your access to the site will be denied - Mike
